White Storm operates a ski rental service in Meribel, La Tania, Courchevel, Val d’Isere and Tignes. They’ve been changing products to go toxin free, limiting vehicle usage and reducing waste.
We serve hundreds of customers a week across our 3 shops and our ski rental delivery service. This gives the White Storm team a unique wide-reaching opportunity to affect change both in our operations and to thousands of skiers over the winter. We’ve always thought we should be doing more for the environment, and working with One Tree is a great way to improve our impact.
With a huge amount of equipment being used every season, recycling and repairing has always been a focus and we’re working on ideas that will push this even further. We try to do what we can to improve the longevity of our equipment. We fix as much as possible and strip what we cannot. The stripped parts can either be recycled or we can reuse them to give life back to equipment that would otherwise be discarded.
