The Boot Lab is a custom fitting ski boot business that’s taking big steps to address their environmental impact by working towards a circular model. They’ve changed their products, services and reduced waste.
We were frustrated with the amount of waste our business was creating and needed solutions. The One Tree pledge system gave us focus and the support from the team helped us deliver. We’re really proud to have removed over 10,000 plastic bags from our supply line but there’s a lot more we want to do together.
Designing footbeds for our ski boots that have the smallest environmental impact possible. We’ve created footbeds made from cork, and our goal is to make them a completely circular product. Previously these items were made from plastic, with a carbon heavy manufacturing process, but now the raw material can stay in use at the end of the footbed’s lifespan.
