Local seamstress Gina is the unsung hero of One Tree at a Time.
The early days of the project saw her fixing countless items on our ‘Fix It’ tour, giving 125kg of kit a new lease of life. That 125kg of repaired clothing saved an estimated 2,900kg of emissions, and donations made for the repairs totalled amassed to 57,302 trees planted.
We couldn’t have got the project off the ground or achieved nearly as much without her help and skill, as a true advocate for sustainable living and conscious consumerism she transformed our events into something even more worthwhile.
Gina doesn’t have a website, but if you’re based in the Three Valleys and need a seamstress then get in touch with One Tree at a Time and we’ll point you in the right direction.
