UN[PARA]LD
Open source ski gear adaptations for all
Designing an accessible & circular outdoors:
The UN [ PARA ] LD (Unparalleled) project transforms surplus & unused ski clothing into adaptive alpine apparel; co-designed, tested, and created by disabled people for disabled people.
Collaboration for inclusive & sustainable winter sports:
Disabled athletes, local makers, brands, and designers collaborating to adapt discarded ski and alpine wear into useable high performance and entry level product, whilst diverting them from land fill. This project actively supports community-led action for circular, accessible and inclusive outdoor sports.
Why are we collaborating?
One Tree At a Time is collaborating on the UN[PARA]LD project, with our community and supporters playing a leading role in launching the movement. Long-term supporters, including Six Senses and Inghams, have helped fund the project from filmmaking to design and prototype development. UN[PARA]LD is about listening to the experiences of the disabled community and working across a broad network to create meaningful, lasting change.
“The outdoor clothing industry has failed disabled people. It is time for something new.”

Project supporters
UN[PARA]LD exists due to our supporters, funding and kit donations are the bedrock of this project.
Project Funders
Six Senses
We’re taking the UN[PARA]LD project to the Milano/Cortina Winter Paralympics. Where we’ll be screening a film, displaying the adaptive garments and hosting talks. None of that would be possible without the support from Six Senses.

Re-Action Collective
At the centre of every great project, you’ll find citizens. UN[PARA]LD is a coming together of forces. The disabled community, meets the Re-Action Collective.
Funding Supporter
Inghams
Inghams have backed us for years. The team at their head office understands the power of Collective Action. So, much so that we regard them as part of the movement for change. Their support extends beyond funding, to guidance and championing.
Kit Donator
Supreme Ski School
Supreme Ski School have generously donated their surplus ski uniforms to One Tree at a Time. These garments have been instrumental in helping us grow our projects, and have been repaired, patched, and integrated into the Patching, UN[PARA]LD and Made to Be Worn initiatives.
